Section of Hematology - Education
Academically, the Section is heavily involved in undergraduate curriculum design and implementation for the medical school. Dr. Allan Jones completed a 10year term as Associate Dean of Undergraduate Medical Education in 2006, and Dr. Deirdre Jenkins is Director of the Blood Course for the Undergraduate Medical Education Program, and is an active member of the Undergraduate Medicine Curriculum Design Committee. Dr. Michelle Geddes is Director of the post-graduate, Hematology Residency Program and coordinates hematology rotations for Internal Medicine and Oncology residents.
