Research Interests
- - Clinical, epidemiologic and laboratory investigations of the diagnosis and management of chronic suppurative lower respiratory tract infections in cystic fibrosis and chronic bronchiectasis
- - The Adult Cystic Fibrosis Clinic for Calgary and Southern Alberta is the coordinating centre for medical trials of the clinical epidemiology of acute pulmonary infection exacerbations in CF patients and the efficacy of newer approaches to the diagnosis and management of their chronic suppurative lower respiratory tract infections. A cohort of adult patients with chronic bronchiectasis is managed in a similar fashion and available for comparative results.
