Resources – Pager Maintenance

Effective immediately: All pager replacements and switchboard assignments are the responsibility of the physician and /or their administrative support.

  • The Department of Medicine 9th floor administrative team is responsible for providing new active recruits with their initial pager to be purchased by the physician at $250
  • The physician is personally and financially responsible for normal maintenance, repairs and loss of pager
  • The physician and/or their administrative support is responsible for informing his/her assigned service of his/her pager number
  • In the event that a replacement pager is required, physicians and/or their administrative support can contact the 9th floor administrative team to purchase a replacement pager at $250
  • The physician and/or their administrative support is responsible for informing switchboard and the Department of Medicine of any changes to his/her assigned pager number
  • The physician and/or their administrative support are responsible for contacting the AHS paging systems at pager@ahs.ca should their new pager require reprograming
