The David Stather Memorial Fund

On September 21, 2015 the Department of Medicine presented a cheque in the amount of $2,550 to representatives of The David Stather Memorial Fund. This money was raised through generous participation from department physicians, staff, and their families in a gift basket raffle at the DOM Stampede BBQ this summer.

New Appointments

Stephen Jefferson - New Zone Clinical Department Manager

We are pleased to announce that Stephen Jefferson has joined the Department of Medicine as our new Zone Clinical Department Manager, effective immediately. Stephen brings a decade of experience in Calgary Zone Medical Affairs, previously as the Zone Clinical Department Manager of Psychiatry, Surgery, and Clinical Neurosciences. He will be a great addition to the department's management and administrative team.

Dr. Anna Purdy - New Site Chief, Rockyview General Hospital

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Anna Purdy as the new Site Chief for the Department of Medicine at Rockyview General Hospital. She will also continue in her role as Site Lead for General Internal Medicine at Rockyview General Hospital. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Purdy to her new role.
