New Appointment

Please welcome the following member to her new role.

Dr. Jayna Holroyd-Leduc - New Zone Clinical Section Chief, Section of Geriatric Medicine

Dr. Jayna Holroyd-Leduc

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Jayna Holroyd-Leduc as the new Zone Clinical Section Chief for the Section of Geriatric Medicine. Dr. Holroyd-Leduc is currently an Associate Professor in the Departments of Medicine and Community Health Sciences at the University of Calgary. Her major research interests involve the use of knowledge translation (KT) to improve the care provided to older adults. She is a member of KT Canada, a national network of knowledge translation researchers established initially through funding from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) and Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) grants. She is also Chairing the KT committee of CFN (Canadian Frailty Network), a Networks of Centres of Excellence (NCE) network funded to improve the care of the frail elderly. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Holroyd-Leduc to her new role.

Dr. Evan Minty

Dr. Evan Minty has joined the Department of Medicine as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Section of General Internal Medicine with interest in Biomedical Informatics. Prior to this, Dr. Minty completed a Master of Science fellowship in Biomedical Informatics from Stanford University. Please join us in welcoming Dr. Minty to the department.
