Jennifer Corrigan PGY-5

Dr. Jennifer CorriganJen is originally from Ontario but made for Alberta __ this girl loves everything outdoors and country. Prior to moving to Calgary for her Medical Degree and Internal Medicine Residency, she completed her Bachelor of Science at the University of Guelph and Master of Science at the University of Alberta. When she is not in the hospital you will likely find her hiking, camping or riding an assortment of horses, bikes and boards.

Lawrence Gutman PGY-5

Dr. Lawrence GutmanLawrence grew up in Calgary and completed his Internal Medicine Residency training at the University of Calgary. He loves the winter and is an avid hockey player. Lawrence and his wife have two young sons (Jack and Liam) who enjoy wrestling and bossing Lawrence around!

Mithum Kularatne PGY-5

Dr. Mithum KularatneMithum was born in Sri Lanka and raised in Saskatoon, where he completed both medical school and his residency in internal medicine before moving to Calgary for a fellowship in Respirology. His interests include traveling, eating delicious food, and eating delicious food while traveling!

Rachel Lim PGY-5

Dr. Rachel LimRachel moved to Calgary after completing a degree in pharmacy at the University of Alberta. Since then, she’s completed her medical school and internal medicine core residency at the University of Calgary. As she continues her training in Respirology, she’s also grateful for the opportunities to go snowboard, travel, and spend time with family and friends.

Danica Brister PGY-4

Dr. Danica BristerDanica was born in Calgary where she developed a love of skiing in the winter and camping in the summer. She then lived in the Swiss alps followed by Washington, DC. She completed her medical training in Ontario, before coming back to complete her internal medicine residency close to home. She’s a big science fiction fan, and loves board games!

Brianne Philipenko PGY-4

Dr. Brianne PhilipenkoBrianne was born and raised in Saskatoon where she completed her MD and Internal Medicine training. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with friends and family, any outdoor activity and kickboxing.

Christina Thornton PGY-4

Dr. Christina ThorntonChristina is a born and raised Calgarian. She completed the joint MD/PhD program at the University of Calgary followed by Internal Medicine Residency Training also at the University of Calgary. Her main academic interests including researching the respiratory microbiome and its role in disease progression. Outside of work, her main interests include taking advantage of the close proximity of the mountains to go hiking, swimming and travelling.
